Welcome to BidMyJob!

This Terms of Use Agreement ("Terms") governs your access to and use of our platform, BidMyJob, which is currently a non-revenue generating service. By using BidMyJob, you agree to be bound by these Terms both in spirit and to the letter. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

Who these terms are for:

This applies to anyone who uses our platform, including homeowners seeking services ("Consumers") and service providers offering their work ("Service Professionals").

About BidMyJob:

We are a platform that connects Consumers with Service Professionals in the UAE. At this time, we are not a revenue-generating business. We do not sell or provide the services ourselves; we simply facilitate the connection.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post any changes on this page. Your continued use of BidMyJob after we post changes means you accept the new Terms. Please check back regularly to stay informed.

Key Definitions

Platform:

Our website and any apps or services we provide.

User:

Anyone who uses BidMyJob. This includes Consumers and Service Professionals.

Pro Services:

The home services offered by Service Professionals (e.g., plumbing, cleaning, repairs).

Content:

All text, images, reviews, and other information on the platform.

Who Can Use BidMyJob

You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform and capable of forming a legal contract in the UAE. By using BidMyJob, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Service Professionals (Pros)

If you use BidMyJob to offer your services, you agree that:

  • You are an independent provider and not an employee, partner, or agent of BidMyJob.
  • You are responsible for having all necessary licenses, certifications, and insurance to perform your services in the UAE.
  • You will provide your services in a professional and competent manner, following industry standards.
  • You understand that BidMyJob is a non-commercial platform and does not guarantee you will get hired.

Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create a password-protected account.

  • • You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
  • • You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity on your account.
  • • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

User Conduct and Community Standards

Platform Discretion: We will determine, in our sole discretion, whether any content or behavior breaches these standards. Our enforcement may include warnings, content removal, account suspension, or permanent bans.

You agree not to do any of the following on BidMyJob:

Legal Compliance:

Use the platform in any way that breaches local, national, or international laws or regulations.

Fraudulent Activity:

Engage in any unlawful, fraudulent activity or have any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.

Harassment & Bullying:

Bully, insult, intimidate, humiliate, threaten, or harass any person.

Harmful Content:

Post, upload, or share content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, inflammatory, or grossly indecent.

Spam:

Send unsolicited advertising, promotional material, or any form of spam.

Malware:

Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code designed to damage systems.

Unauthorized Advertising:

Upload content containing advertising, promotions, or web links to other sites without permission.

Misuse Information:

Use any information from the platform for illegal, unauthorized, or harmful purposes.

Impersonation:

Pretend to be someone you're not, create fake accounts, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Automated Access:

Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access our platform without permission.

Serious Offenses

You must never upload, post, or share:

  • • Grossly offensive, indecent, obscene, or menacing messages intended to cause distress or anxiety
  • • False messages intended to cause psychological or physical harm
  • • Threats of death or serious harm
  • • Content that encourages or incites self-harm or harm to others
  • • Content that advocates or promotes illegal activity

We reserve the right to remove content, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently ban repeat offenders without prior notice.

Reviews, Feedback & Content Standards

We may allow users to post reviews and feedback. All content you provide must comply with these standards:

Reviews and Feedback Must:

  • Be accurate and state facts truthfully
  • Contain only opinions that are genuinely held
  • Relate solely to the service you actually received
  • Be a direct response to the service in question (not addressing unrelated matters)
  • Comply with applicable laws in the UAE

Reviews and Content Must NOT:

  • • Be defamatory, obscene, derogatory, offensive, or inflammatory
  • • Contain personal information (phone numbers, addresses) of any person
  • • Contain advertising or promotional content
  • • Infringe copyright, trademarks, or intellectual property rights
  • • Be likely to deceive or mislead any person
  • • Breach any legal duty, contractual obligation, or duty of confidence
  • • Be threatening, abusive, or invade anyone's privacy
  • • Give the impression that the content comes from BidMyJob itself

You grant BidMyJob the right to use, display, and publish your reviews and feedback on the platform.

Public Profiles and Content

If you have a public profile on BidMyJob (including Professional profiles), you acknowledge and accept that your content, reviews, responses, and other information can be read and viewed by the general public. This content may be indexed by search engines and shared across the internet.

10Fees and Payments

BidMyJob is not currently a revenue-generating business. Any communication regarding payments for Pro Services will be solely between the Consumer and the Service Professional. BidMyJob does not process payments or charge any fees at this time.

11Disclaimer of Warranties

BidMyJob is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, secure, or error-free. We do not endorse or make any guarantees about the quality of the services provided by Service Professionals. The decision to hire a Service Professional is your sole responsibility.

12Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, BidMyJob will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform or the services you receive from a Service Professional. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of data, property damage, or personal injury.
